How is the Coronavirus spreading?
Coronavirus is rapidly increasing and leading to deaths. There are several ways in which it is spreading, we have listed them:
It spreads from one person to another when they are in close proximity, it is as same as the other respiratory illness.
Droplets of fluids present in the body which include saliva or mucus – are dispersed in the air or on the surfaces while coughing or sneezing by an infected person. The droplets can come into direct proximity with others or the infection can be transmitted to those who get in touch with the infected surfaces and then touch their face.
According to scientists, the viruses of coughs and sneezes can travel considerable feet and can be in the air for up to 10 minutes.
How to protect from Coronavirus?
Till the present time, there is no vaccination available to put a stop to the Coronavirus infection, but there are certain things that can be adopted in the daily behavior to protect yourself.
The Cdc has recommended some:
Cleansing of hands often for at least 20 seconds with the use of soap and water. If you are at someplace where the availability of water and soap is difficult an alcohol-based sanitizer will work.
Refrain from touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid going to public places and try to stay at home when you are sick.
Place something over your mouth when you cough or sneeze such as tissue and throw the tissue in the dustbin.
Clean and sanitize frequently touched objects and surfaces.
What are the steps which took place to stop it from spreading?
China has fixed lockdown for Wuhan and more than a dozen other cities, having an influence on more than 50 million people, even though this was not helpful to prevent the virus to infect the people of China. As the figure for validated cases is increasing, the other countries and organizations took immediate action.
Many airlines have halted flights to China, whereas several countries are removing out their citizens from Wuhan and Hubei. Many countries have shut down their borders with China, at the same time others have prohibited entrance to Chinese citizens. Having restrictions on migration is not the solution to bring the disease to an end from spreading completely but will be helpful in slowing down it from spreading and buy the time to areas to make some provision that is not yet affected.
Coronavirus is turning our living place into a graveyard and the reason behind it still a puzzle for everyone. The treatment to put an end to this virus is still unknown and a large number of people are putting their efforts to overcome this problem and trying to find out any medication for it. But we are the ones who can finally reduce the impact of it by being a responsible citizen and visiting the doctor even if we realize that any of the symptoms are occurring to us.
